We focus on the niche of adventure tourism. We engage in activities such as walking, hiking, trekking, canyoning, cycling, and exploring, combined with cultural and community-based activities in the lap of nature.
The Company
Desert Paramours Travel & Tours was born out of our Love Affair with the desert, our ‘Paramour’, our passion.
We used to walk almost ten miles to school. The desert was our playground when we were growing up. Here, we spent our childhood roaming and exploring. Living in this openness made our minds expand and our dreams infinite.
When we were shepherds, we used to meet visitors trekking the trails. We were fascinated by them, and they by us. We brewed tea over the fire and shared our nomadic stories. We showed them the hidden trails and the unknown tracks.
After completing our higher education, we, 11 Bedouin brothers, created Desert Paramours Tours in 1993.
‘Par Amour’, through love, Desert Paramours Travel and Tours came to be.
DESERT PARAMOURS Tours & Travel is a registered tour company in Jordan. From humble beginnings, we have moved to our present status, where we serve clients in all Middle Eastern countries, from our headquarters in our beloved Petra.

Desert paramours travel consists of a team of 11 Bedouin brothers. Each one is driven by a love of nature and a passion for deserts. The company enjoys a high profile and excellent reputation.

Travel in comfort with your own private guide and chauffeur driven vehicle, venture into areas inaccessible to larger tour groups and discover the unique history, landscapes, cultures and people of the Middle East.

COVID-19 Travel Updates & Requirements
You no longer need to conduct a PCR test before departure to Jordan, nor will you need to complete a PCR test upon arrival at the airports, land borders or seaport.
All travellers are still required to visit https://gateway2jordan.gov.jo to complete the required travel declaration form and obtain the QR code, which is mandatory for boarding and entry to hotels, restaurants and public areas. Exemptions: Children under the age of 5 years.
In case of a positive COVID test result during a traveller’s stay, travellers must commit to adhering to self-quarantine for five days as per the regulations of the kingdom. Click on the logo for more information.
